Anna Virginia Hornbaker was born in Olney, Richland County, IL, the daughter of John and Ada Musgrove Hornbaker. She married Otto Wilbert Jones on 7-31-1920 and they lived in Willow Hill, Jasper County, IL, their entire married life.

Anna and Otto had three sons, Wendel, James Robert and Donald; and three daughters, Ada Mae, Thelma, and Vera. One daughter, Rachel Ann, died at the age of 10 and is buried next to her parents.

Anna V. Jones, 83, Willow Hill, died at 2:20 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 1986, in Richland Memorial Hospital.

Visitation and services will be May 20, 1986, in Crain Funeral Home in Newton with Rev. Bob Phillips presiding. Burial will be Mounds Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was born July 25, 1902, in Olney, the daughter of John and Ada (Musgrove) Hornbaker. She married Otto Jones July 31, 1920, and he preceded her in death in 1973.
She was a member of the Willow Hill United Methodist Church and Missionary Society.

Other survivors include three sons, Wendel Jones, Portland, Ore.; Robert Jones, Willow Hill; Donald Jones, San Diego, CaliC; three daughters, Ada Mae Moran, Ste. Marie; Thelma Hickey, Knightstown, Ind.; Vera Huddleton, Yale; a brother, John Hornbaker, Modesto, Calif.; 24 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and a sister.
