ESTHER (BARSEMA) WIERSEMA , 93, of 1511 Fourth St., Fulton, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, Iowa. She owned and operated with her first husband, the former B&B Hardware Store and Gift Shop, Fulton.

Mrs. Wiersema was born Aug. 6, 1911, in Chicago, the daughter of Peter and Henerietta (Wiersema) Barsema. She attended rural Whiteside County schools. She married John J. Wiersema on April 20, 1934, in Fulton. He died Sept. 26, 1984. She then married J. Donald Bielema on Sept. 15, 1990 in Fulton. He died April 17, 2001. She was a member of First Reformed Church, Fulton, the church's King's Daughter and Helping Hand Society, Fulton Women's Service Club, Harbor Crest Nursing Home Ladies Auxiliary and Fulton Country Club.

Survivors include a daughter Marcia Renkes of Morrison; a son, A. A. Dale (Carol) Wiersema of Minneapolis; two, stepdaughters, Judy Eaton of Savanna and Cindy (Kurt) Beck of Savanna; a stepson, David (Donna) Bielema of Mount Carroll; a half-sister, Una Vos of Fulton; a half-brother, Jean (Leona): Borgman of Eulton; a sister-in-law, Lena Barsema of Fulton; four grand­children; four great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and two step-great -grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Margorie Vogel-Bielema; a brother, Milton Barsema; and a half ­brother, Louis Borgman. The funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Sneller, pastor, First Reformed Church, Fulton, officiat­ing. Burial is at Fulton Township Cemetery.
