Edward E. Rominger was the third of five known children of Ambrose Cornelius Rominger (1850-1932) and Lydia Catherine Crouse Rominger (1835-1925), who married c1868 at presumably North Carolina, but a marriage record for them can't be located.

Edward amrried Clara (did she go by Carrie?) Sarah Ann Mendenhall (1865-1948) on 11 Jun 1897 at Forsyth County, North Carolina. Edward and Clara had their first two children in North Carolina (in 1898 and 1901) before moving to Roanoke, Virginia where their third was born in 1903.

Edward and Clara were the parents of three known children, namely:

1. Treva E. Rominger Weiford (1898-1987)
2. Clifford Eugene Rominger (1901-1975)
3. Alice Loretta Rominger Rice (1903-p1940)

The first two children moved to California where they died. Loretta stayed in Roanoke City.

Links to Edward's parents, wife and all four of his known siblings are included below.
