Music Executive. Record producer who started his own label at age 17, married to Teresa Brewer, and best known for his work with Erroll Garner, Henry Mancini, Eydie Gormé and Steve Lawrence, Pearl Bailey, Lawrence Welk, Pat Boone, the Mills Brothers, and beat novelist Jack Kerouac. In 1968, he produced Louis Armstrong's last album, "Louis Armstrong and Friends", which included the optimistic song "What a Wonderful World" - cowritten by Thiele.
