Mrs. Mary Self, 80, a native Arizonan, died last Thursday in
San Bernadino, California where she had lived the past
four years. Services were conducted in Walker's Globe
Mortuary Tuesday with burial following at Pinetop.
Born in Linden, she married John Self while he was
serving in the US Cavalry at Ft. Apache in 1913.
They moved to Globe in 1921, where Mrs. Self lived
most of her married life. Her husband died in 1955.
Mrs. Self was lifetime member of the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
