A native of Macon County, she resided in Buncombe County for most of her life. She was a member of Deaverview Evangelist Tabernacle.
Mrs. Mashburn was the daughter of the late George and
Honor Grace Cabe Peek. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Layell.
Otto and Mary Ann Greenway of Hartwell, Ga.; brothers, Doyle Peek of Georgia, Isaac Peek of Canton, Ohio, and Leroy Peek of Lenoir; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
