Marjorie M. Smith, 76 of Logansport, IN, died at 4:59 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2006 in St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born June 23, 1930, in Danville, Indiana, the daughter of John E. and Averil N. Campbell Evans. She was married in Onward, on October 1, 1965, to James W. Smith, who preceded in death July 23, 1996.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Walton Christian Church. Although unable to do so for the past few years, Marjorie always loved fishing, working in her yard and planting flowers. She also loved to travel. Her favorite destination was Colorado, where she enjoyed the beauty of the mountains. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great-great-granddaughter.

Friends will be received 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 19th in Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, Indiana.
Services will be held at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Paul Bentley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Walton IOOF, Walton, Indiana.
