Mabel is the oldest child of Herbert Lester Jones and Myrtle Wood. She married Marion Elmo McInnes on December 9, 1931 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They never had any children. They lived next door to us while growing up, and even though she was my cousin I always called her Aunt Mabel as she and my mom were the same age. She began taking ceramic lessons and excelled in it and soon she was helping teach. She exhibited her work at the state fair for many years often winning first place ribbons. She was moved to a nursing home in Broken Arrow after the death of her last sibling and we miss her greatly.
