Mrs. Eliza Virginia Ball, 88, one of Campbell County's pioneers, died at 1 o'clock Monday morning at the residence of Frank P Helm, in Covington of old age.
Mrs. Ball was born in Campbell County in 1810 when this section of the country was practically a wilderness. She will be buried Wednesday at 2 0'clock.

The funeral of Mrs. Eliza Virginia Ball took place Wednesday afternoon from the residence of Frank P Helm, at Third and Garrard Streets.
Rev Dr. Jones of the First Baptist Church preached. Burial was at Highland Cemetery. The pallbearers were H C Bruce, James W Bryan, James O Harra, John A Simpson, J D Hearn, F P Wolcott, Frank Woodall and A P Sanford.
