Josephine Smith Reinhardt passed away September 16, 1995, just two days before her 93rd birthday.
She was born September 18, 1902, the eldest child of President Joseph Fielding Smith and Emily Louie Shurtliff. Married Henry Max Reinhardt May 28, 1927, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Prior to her marriage, she was a school teacher. Until the death of her husband in 1946, they worked side by side in their jewelry business. Afterwards, until her retirement, she worked for the genealogical department of the LDS Church.
She had a love for the youth and touched many young people through her lifelong faithful service in the Primary and Young Women's programs of the church.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, September 20, at 1 P.M. in Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Where Friends attended a Viewing on Tuesday Evening from 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday, One Hour Prior To Services.
Graveside Services followed at the Bountiful Memorial Park where she was buried.
