In Spartanburg Deeds Book U, page 168, 1 Jan. 1819, JANE BOBO (Spartanburg District) to WILLIS LANGSTON (Spartanburg District), (willis Levingston is grantee at top of deed) for $300 sold all the plantation tract of land containing 120 acres more or less, in Spartanburg District on the north side of Cedar Shoal Creek and the waters of the same. Bounded: SPENCER BOBO (N), wagon road that leads from Musgrove's ford to HARMONINGS(E) GLENN (S) WILBANK (W). The same that Revd. Spencer bobo sold to THOMAS WATERS on which the said WATERS did live for some time the same being part of a tract granted to WILKS B. WATERS. Witness SAMUELL FARROW, ROSANNAH CLAYTON. WILLIAM CLAYTON is not to sell, rent, or otherwise dispose of the land, but to live on it or tend it during the life of said JANE BOBO or while she continues to live on the land where she now lives.
