In Spartanburg Deeds Book U, page 168, 1 Jan. 1819, JANE BOBO (Spartanburg District) to WILLIS LANGSTON (Spartanburg District), (willis Levingston is grantee at top of deed) for $300 sold all the plantation tract of land containing 120 acres more or less, in Spartanburg District on the north side of Cedar Shoal Creek and the waters of the same. Bounded: SPENCER BOBO (N), wagon road that leads from Musgrove's ford to HARMONINGS(E) GLENN (S) WILBANK (W). The same that Revd. Spencer bobo sold to THOMAS WATERS on which the said WATERS did live for some time the same being part of a tract granted to WILKS B. WATERS. Witness SAMUELL FARROW, ROSANNAH CLAYTON. Signed JANE BOBO. Witness Oath by SAMUEL FARROW, 27 April 1822 to BURRELL BOBO Q. U. 22 Jan. 1829.

In Book U the following: pages 119-120, 10 Oct. 1818, JANE BOBO (Spartanburg Disttrict) to WILLIAM CLAYTON (Spartanburg District), I give to my nephew WILLIAM CLAYTON, 50 acres on Ferguson's Creek, part of a tract that SPENCER BOBO purchased of JAMES WOFFORD. Bordered JOHN MEANS, DAVID BREWTON, JANE BOBO. WILLIAM CLAYTON is not to sell, rent, or otherwise dispose of the land, but to live on it or tend it during the life of said JANE BOBO or while she continues to live on the land where she now lives. Land to revert back should he fail to comply. Witness JAMES CLAYTON, WATERS J. FARROW. Signed JANE BOBO. Witness oath by JAMES CLAYTON, 5 April 1827 to PHILLIP BREWTON, J. P. Rec. 1 Sep. 1828.

Her tombstone reads "BOBO, MRS. JANE the affectionate consort (Wife) of the Rev. SPENCER BOBO, D. D. (Doctor of Divinity). She was born August 1, 1768 and departed this life July 28, 1828
