Helen P. Kelley, 78, a resident of Birchwood Nursing Home, Casey, formerly of Martinsville, died at 1 a.m., Wednesday, June 4, 1997.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 6 at Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville with Rev. George Nika officiating. Burial is in Ridglawn Cemetery in Martinsville. Visitation is from 12 noon until the time of the funeral on Friday.

She was bom April 1, 1919, the daughter of Adrean and Mable (Rideout) Phillips Baker. She was married July 28, 1947, to Eugene Kelley. He preceded her in death October 8, 1976.

She is survived by her mother, Mabel Baker of Tuscola, Ill; one daughter, Katherine Bennett of Casey; two brothers, Dale Phillips of Tuscola, Ill. and Larry Phillips of Tolona, Ill.; one sister, Dorothy Rogers of Salem, Ill.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Taylor and one sister, Iola Gray.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Fund in lieu of flowers.
