POLK COUNTY, IOWA, Probate Deed Record, page 384. Pursuant to Authority, granted at this April term, 1887 of the District Court of the State of Iowa, in and for the County of Polk, and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred and fifty four dollars, in hand paid by Amanda Alder of Polk County, State of Iowa, I J. G. Koph administrator of the estate of Lewis Alder deceased do hereby SELL AND CONVERY unto the said Amanda Alder the following described Real Estate situated in the County of Polk, State of Iowa, to wit: The south west quarter of the north east quarter of section fourteen (14) Township eighty one (81) range twenty two (22) west 5th p.m. Iowa except nine & 4/18 acres off the east end thereof. To have and to hold, the same unto the said Amanda Alder her heirs and assigns forever. And I hereby covenant in my official capacity, aforesaid, that in making this sale and conveyance, I have in all things complied with the orders of said Court and the provisions of the law relating thereto. Witness my hand in the capacity aforesaid, the 12th day of August A. D. 1887. Signed John G Koph, Admin.
