Son of Dr. Patrick Henry Wright and Mary Frances Nisbet. Grandson of Supreme Court Judge, Eugenius A. Nisbet. He was named for his Uncle, Council Wright. He first married Rosa Mapp on 18 Nov 1890 ( d. 9 Jun 1898). By 1900, He was a widower and living with his mother, older sister and brother-in-law and working as a bookkeeper. He then married Mary Nevin Brumby on 29 Oct 1907. He later became a journalist for the Macon Telegraph, accountant and government examiner in Washington, DC. His mother lived with he and his 2nd wife after the death of his father.
