Television Commentator, Financier. He was a American hedge fund manager (private investment banker) and financial commentator who is best known for his appearances on several television programs including "Kudlow & Company" and "Squawk Box" on CNBC. A graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in Pennsylvania, he later earned his bachelor's degree in Finance from Boston University in 1984. After college he began working as a futures trader with Moseley Securities, an assistant trader at New York & Foreign Securities, and five years as a portfolio manager and an equity trader for the JRO Associates Company, before finally starting and becoming President of his own company, Circle T Partners. The Circle T Partners which has offices in New York City, Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, and West Palm Beach, Florida, invests in stocks and manages well over 200 million dollars. Tobias was also well-known for his support of charities including the National Kidney Foundation and the Jerry Segal Golf Classic for the benefit of Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia. He died in apparent drowning at his home in Florida.
