Mrs. Ruth Moore Bayne, 65, of Route 3, Piedmont, died Saturday at 12:10 a.m. at her residence.
A daughter of the late B. F. and Roxie Smith Moore, she was born in Piedmont. She lived in Greenville for 25 years prior to returning to Piedmont about 10 years ago. Her husband, Leon G. Bayne, died in 1968. She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church in Anderson County.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James (Billy) Reese of Piedmont; a son, James Franklin Bayne of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Maude M. Huff and Miss Sally Moore of Route 3, Piedmont; a brother, Charles B. Moore of Piedmont; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home by the Rev. Herbert Franklin and the Rev. P. F. Elliott. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Harold Wyatt, Bill Golden, Charles Moore, Charles Davis, Darnell Danieley and Leon Wells.
The body is at the funeral home.
