Carlos Ramsey, 78, of Route 2, Elkmont, died Saturday at his residence.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home in Athens with Dwight Ridinger and Larry Adams officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Point Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mettie Ramsey; two sons, Glenn Ramsey of Athens and Charles Ramsey of Michigan; two daughters, Rosene Beasley and Wanda Usery, both of Athens; two stepsons, James Vaughn of Athens and Tommy Vaughn of Elkmont; two sisters, Bertice Waddell of Rogersville and Jewell Weathers of Athens; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
