Dorothy never married. She was a good Christian woman, greatly beloved by all her relatives and friends. She lived with her brother, Judge Stephen Martel Woodson, until his death, and spent the remainder of her life with her niece, Mrs. Warren M. Stanley, of Upper Alton, Illinois. Dorothy was a member of the Baptist Church.
