Jerald Harsin, 27, Crestwood, drowned at 10:50 p.m. Saturday in a wreck on U.S. 42, about a mile west of Carrollton.

He was driving a car that ran off the road, sent over an embankment, and landed on its top in a creek, containing 4 feet of water. He was pinned in the car.

A companion, Kenneth Smith, 16, Crestwood, was thrown out before the auto went into the creek. He was treated at Carroll County Memorial Hospital for a broken nose and face cuts and then taken to a hospital at LaGrange.

Carrollton, Ky.--Nov. 21 -- The funeral for Jarol D. Harsin, 27, Crestwood, who drowned in an automobile accident Saturday night, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wood Funeral Home in Milton. Durlin Harsin, Louisville is a brother.
