James Russell Hearn, 78, of 822 Greever Ave.,Bluefield, Va.,
died Wednesday in a Bluefield nursing home after a long illness.
Born in Pisgah, Va., he was a retired from the Norfolk and Western Railway,
a member of the Virginia Avenue United Methodist Church,
past master of Harman Lodge 222 AF and AM,
past high priest of W.G. Bottimore Royal Arch Chapter 28,
past commander of Graham Commandry 22,
past patron of the Bluefield Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star,
a member of Beni Kedem Temple in Charleston
and a member of Scottish Free Masonry.
