MARLOW.- Service for Charley M. Apple, 91, who died at 8:45 a.m. today in a local nursing home, will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Callaway Funeral Chapel.

The Rev. Clarence Ball, pastor of the First Methodist Church officiated, assisted by the Rev. Henry Schested. Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery.

Apple, a retired farmer and a resident here since 1910, was married to Martha Ellen Flurry on Dec. 24, 1895, in Bellville. She died in 1948.

The deceased was park superintendent of the Marlow Parks for 12 years. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and W.O.W. Lodges, and was also a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J.A. Cummins, Oklahoma City; and Mrs. F.W. Hallmark, Marlow; two sons E. D. and C. R. both of Louisville, Ky.

Others are two brothers, Wilbur and Ed, both of Dardanelle, Ark; three sisters Mrs. Jessie Lee Watkins, Belleville, Ark: Mrs. Alice Taylor, Wynnewood; Mrs. Irene Heflin of Oklahoma City Oklahoma and 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He married Martha "Mattie" EllenFlurry 25 December 1895 at Bellville, Yell, Arkansas.

They had twelve known children: Ella, William Elmer, James, John T., Basel Marion, Earl Garrett, Gladys Lee, Jewel E., Etheridge David "Pete", Charles Reed, Etma Florence "Flo", and Rena.
