Calvin Turner Jr., 60, of Rogers, Arkansas died November 5, 2007 at Rogers.

He was born February 15, 1947, in Claremore, Oklahoma to Calvin and Betty Lou 'Dennis' Turner.

Calvin was so very proud of his Native American heritage.
At his viewing he held his peace pipe that he used in ceremonies, he was buried with the pipe.

He was a quality technician for Kennametal (RTW) in Rogers, AR.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Linda (Lane)Turner, of the home. One son, Brad Turner of Pea Ridge, one daughter, Sydney Montondo and Kevin of Rogers, one grandson, Wilson Montondo, one brother, Steve of Oklahoma, four sisters, Sue, Deborah, Jane and Karen all of Oklahoma.

Calvin is preceded in death by his parents and also a brother, Dale Henry Turner. Dale drowned a few years ago.

Services will be held at 2 pm Friday at Sycamore Springs Baptist Church in Jay, Oklahoma. Dewitt TeeHee will officiate. Burial will be in the Sycamore Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Perry Lane, Charlie Lane, Red Martin, William Chewey, Jim Lambert, and Dude Feathers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Johnson, Lou Simmons, Stanley Williams, Steve Ware and Bruce Morgan.

In liew of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospital, PO Box 98, Rogers, AR. 72757
