--The marriage of Miss Clara Louise Alexander, youngest daughter of Hon. J.S. Alexander, and one of Marion's well-known ladies, to Mr. Joseph G. Blesch of Chicago, was quietly celebrated at the home of the bride's father on Eighth avenue, Wednesday afternoon Sept. 5, at 3 o'clock. Rev. Robert L. Campbell, the bride's pastor, officiating. The bride and groom left on the afternoon train for their future home in Chicago.

Dies in Chicago--Miss Harriet Gibson has received word of the death of Clara Alexander Blesch Feb. 12 at her home in Chicago. Mrs. Blesch, the daughter of the late J.S. Alexanders, prominent early Marion residents, was reared in Marion and received her education in the Marion schools.

Blesch Services--Committal services for the ashes of Clara Alexander Blesch of Chicago, who died in February, were conducted Friday morning in Oak Shade cemetery. The widow of Joseph Blesch, she had resided in Marion for many years. T. Alexander of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Franz and John P. Mentzer of Chicago were in Marion for the service.
