Irvin was married to Lottie Marie Gurley and had 3 sons. Served in The US Army 1923-1927, stationed at Schofield Barracks, Ohau, Territory of Hawaii. Worked at many trades, but mainly as an operating enginner "Catskinner". Owned his own service stations in South Los Angeles for a number of years in the 1940's and 1950's. Lived in Tujunga, CA the last few years of his life. A great Dad!
