My Uncle David. So sorry to find out he passed away, I still cannot believe it.

One of my favorite memories of him is from when I was in maybe the 5th or 6th grade. We traveled to see family in the Midwest. One night we went to a boxing match and he came to see us. He sat by me all night and we talked about all kinds of things, I remember specifically that bloodhounds had thousands upon thousands of nerve endings in their nose and that is why they can pick up scent so well...

I remember him walking away into the night..

He went on to mail me a bunch of science fiction books because I had showed an interest while we were talking, I still read tons of science fiction to this day, so in that way a part of my Uncle David lives on...

I didn't see him again until I was about 20. I only spent one afternoon at his house, but I remember he showed me a book he had that mentioned our grandfather, Iron Horse (who also has a site her at Find A Grave)...

He apparently had Hepatitis C from what I understand, but I could be wrong about that...

I hope he rests in peace, he was a cool guy...
