Mrs. A. T. Merriman Stricken Fatally
Death From Heart Attack Occurs Today at Home in Warren
Mrs. Lucy Merriman, 61, died at 12:10 this morning at her home in Warren of a heart attack. Her death was sudden, although she had been in poor health for some time.
Born in Wells county, February 20, 1874, the decedent was a daughter of Fred and Mary Rush[sic Ruse] Huffman. Her first marriage was to George Gavin, who died in 1917. She was married to Alfred Merriman on Feb. 28, 1922.
Surviving are the husband; one son, Fred Gavin, Abaraka, North Dakota; three step-sons, Justin and Floyd Merriman, Indianapolis, and Donald Merriman, Liberty Center.
Funeral services will be held in the Methodist church in Warren, of which Mrs. Merriman was a member, and burial will be at the Fairview cemetery, near Bluffton.
