He was born July 30, 1925 at Fort Smith, Ark. to the late James Taylor and Rosalee Ward Clinton.
Mr. Clinton had been an operator and mechanic for DuPont Chemicals. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during WW II.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marian Elaine Hughes Clinton who died in 1999; and second wife, Ruby Johnston Clinton who died in 2006.
Mr. Clinton is survived by daughters, Margaret Anne Foster of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Lee Ellen Dawson and husband Randy of Wenatchee, Wash.; son, John Franklin Clinton and wife Elaine of Bridge City; sister, Dixie Lee Brint of Orange; and five grandchildren, Elena Marie Clinton, Christianna Lea Clinton, Jared Wayne Clinton, Alyssa Elaine Foster and Richard Ward Foster.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Brint, Wayne Brint, Randy Dawson, Jay Wilson and Bobby Bisson.
Condolence calls will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Bailey and Foster Funeral Home.
