Miss Frances Wallace died at the residence of her mother yesterday afternoon at one o'clock. She had been in delicate health for some years and she became much worse last winter, gradually growing weaker. Her disease pertained to the spine and brain. Though her friends knew that she could not recover, they were not prepared for so sudden a death.
Miss Wallace was 32 years of age. She was the daughter of Dr. William I. Wallace and Mrs. Frances J. Wallace. Her father, Dr. Wallace, was for many years a practicing physician in this city, and died in 1867.
Miss Wallace leaves many kind and sorrowing friends behind her, by whom she was loved and respected, and who, though they feel extremely sad to part with her, feel relieved to know that her suffering is at an end. The time of the funeral is not yet fixed.
She leaves two brothers, W. F. and W. D. Wallace, and a sister, Mrs. John P. Baker.
