Colorado City, May 2 - At 4 p.m. Tuesday funeral for John Hiram Tiller, resident of Mitchell county, was held. Mr. Tiller, 75, died suddenly at his home in south Colorado after an illness of only three hours.
He was born in Tennessee December 24, 1868, and was married to the former Mary Elizabeth Pettitt in Gail, Tex, February 10, 1895. He was a member of the Baptist church and a retired farmer. Officiating at the rites was the pastor of the Baptist church at Roscoe, Rev. G. W. Parks, and the Rev. J. C. Koen, pastor of the Buford Baptist church.
