Mrs. Aubry died Tuesday, April 28, 1998, at the Wellsville Manor Care Center.
She was born April 9, 1903, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of William Francis Davis and Mary Elizabeth Wolf. She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1920.
She had lived in Centropolis since 1946. She was a nurse's aid at Crestview Nursing Home, and previously worked as a cook in Ottawa.
She was a member of the Appanoose Baptist Church.
She married William C. Barkley on Aug. 24, 1920, in Ottawa. He died July 30, 1977. She married Franz Aubry in 1980 in Centropolis. He died in October 1985.
Survivors include a son, William ''Bob'' Barkley, Pomona; two daughters, Lois Houston and Sharon Baer, both of Ottawa; a stepson, Claud Aubry, Lawrence; 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren.
