Don Lyle Stone, 46 years old, was born in Corpus Christi on March 30, 1961 to Don and Faun Stone. Lyle died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 after having a heart attack and stroke 4 years ago. He is now out of pain and suffering. He is "Out of the Body and into the presence of the Lord."

He graduated from Richard King High School in Corpus Christi, and Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos with a degree in Criminal Justice before working at the Juvenile Justice Center as Assistant Detention Superintendent. He attended Bay Area Fellowship Church where he and Rhonda volunteered with the children's ministry. He spent many blessed years with his wife and sons along with best friend Steve Cox and family, hunting in the Texas Hill Country.

He enjoyed fishing with his father, brothers and sons and tinkering with cars. He also had a very creative and artistic ability. Lyle's life was a daily sacrifice to the Lord, of which consisted of a true servant's heart.
