Andrews - Musser

Michelle K. Musser and Robert C. Andrews Jr. were united in marriage June 1 at the home of the bride's parents. The Rev. Donald Fogelsanger officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Musser, Chambersburg, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Andrews Sr., Chambersburg.

Trudy Spangler, Chambersburg, read scripture.

Christine Ratcliff, Lancaster, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Christina Musser, Chambersburg, the bride's sister, and Deb Crites of Virginia.

Dale Happel, Marion, was best man. Ushers were Tony Andrews, the bridegroom's brother, and Malcolm Harris, both of Chambersburg.

Melissa Rotz, Marion, the bride's niece, was flower girl and David Pittman II, Chambersburg, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

Miniature bride and bridegroom were Jessica Pittman, Chambersburg, and Kevin Rotz, Marion, niece and nephew of the bride.

A reception was held at the Church of the Brethren, Fourth Street.

The bride is a 1985 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, a 1989 graduate of Shippensburg University and a 1990 graduate of University of Virginia with bachelors degrees in chemistry and medical technology. She is a medical technician in Blood Bank, Carlisle.

A 1985 graduate of CASHS, the bridegroom is a photographer and lab manager at Andrews Photo.

Following a trip to Williamsburg, they live at Penn Street, Shippensburg.

Michelle Musser Andrews, 27, of 30 N. Penn St., Shippensburg, died at 2:25 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 1994, in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, after a two-month illness.

Born Jan. 1, 1967 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Mervin L. and Janet M. Burkholder Musser of Chambersburg.

A 1985 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, she graduated in 1989 from Shippensburg University with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a minor in biology, A 1990 graduate of University of Virginia, Charlottesville, with a bachelor's degree in medical technology, she worked for two years at Carlisle Hospital as a medical technologist.

She was attending Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was a member of the Undergraduate American Academy of Osteopathy, the Student Osteopathy Medical Association, Internal Medicine Club, and Lambda Omicron Gamma Fraternity. She was to graduate in 1996.

A peer tutor, she helped fellow students with their studies.

She was a member of Church of the Brethren, Fourth Street; American Society of Clinical Technologists; and American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

She enjoyed cross-stitching and sewing.

Surviving are her husband, Robert C. Andrews Jr.; three sisters, Deborah S. (Mrs. Nelson) Rotz, Tina M. (Mrs. David) Pittman, and Christina (Mrs. Dale) Happel, all of Chambersburg; paternal grandmother, Emma Musser of Chambersburg; and maternal grandparents, David H. and Leota Burkholder, of Chambersburg; two nieces and two nephews.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Church of the Brethren, Fourth Street. The Revs. Donald H. Fogelsanger and Jimm A. Roland will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home Inc., and one hour prior to the service Wednesday in the church.

The family requests the omission of flowers. Donations to help defray medical costs may be made to the Michelle Andrews Memorial Fund, in care of Church of the Brethren, 260 S. Fourth St., Chambersburg 17201.
