Mrs.Billie Raye Isom, 72, died friday, Feb.27,2004, at her home in Alma. She was born Feb.26,1932 in Ennis, the daughter of Raymond and Myrtie McCluney Mullican. She was reared in Ennis and was a 1950 graduate of Ennis High School. On Oct.6,1950 she married Kenneth L. Isom of Ennis. After their marriage they lived in Ennis where she was employed as an operator for Bell Telephone. She was later employed by Ennis Business Forms, retiring in 1995 after 30 years. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and a longtime member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, of Ennis; 2 sons and their wives, Kenneth Ray and Judy Isom of Ennis, Boyd L. and Lesa Isom of New Summerfield,TX; 2 daughters and their husbands, Amy and David McAlister of Cedar Hill, Lisa and Joe Slaughter of Ennis; a sister, Susie Andrews of Oak Cliff; 12 grand-children; and 11 great grandchildren.
