Leo Wiese was born to Rudolph Richard Wiese and Ottilie (Schmidt) Wiese. He was baptized on April 7, 1907 at a Lutheran Church in Holland Minnesota. He moved with his family to Oklahoma in 1910. He was confimed on October 4,1931 at Trinity Lutheran Church, El Reno, Oklahoma.

On November 23, 1932, he was married to Ella Schroeder at St. John Lutheran Church, Okarche, Oklahoma God Blessed this marriage with a daughter, Virginia Lee.

He is survived by his wife, Ella, a brother Otto of El Reno, OK, two sisters Frieda Sander of Kingfisher, Emma Schultz, Choctaw, Oklahoma. Two grandsons Michael and Steve Williams, Oklahoma City and 7 grandchildren.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, one sister, Ann Vogel and three brothers, Emil C. Richard J.,and Rudolph R. in infancy.

Leo attended El Reno Public Schools. He farmed since 1927 and retired in 1975. He also did carpentry work.

His grandson, Steve Williams, was killed in the Oklahoma City Bombing on April 19, 1995.
