A heart attack at 5:45 a.m. Monday was fatal to Forest G. DeHaven, 63, of 418 Howard street. He was stricken while working at the Logan Machine. Death was due to a heart attack. A veteran of World War 1, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Eagles lodge. Friends may call at the McCloskey-Hamilton funeral home. The Eagles will have rites there at 7:30 this evening. A native of Cass county he was born Jan. 29, 1896, son of Lee and Lillie Guy DeHaven. His marriage was to Marparet M. Farrer.

Survivors are the wife: seven sons and twn daughters: Lee, Gordon, Charles, Ernest, all of this city; Clifford R., Flint, Mich.; Jack, Titusville, Fla.; Richard with the Navy in Cuba; Mrs Betty Noble and Mrs. Myra Altice, both of this city; 26 grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters survive. They are: Dennis of Richmond, and Clifford J., of route 2, city; Mrs. Stella Blake, Lafayette; Mrs. Florence Becker, Akron, Ohio.
