Mrs. Sarah B. Singleton, 62, 1508 Oxford Millville Pk., wife of Edward Singleton, died of complications at 4:15AM Monday in Fort Hamilton Hospital where she had been a patient since Friday. She had been in ill health for one year.

Born in Jackson County, KY, May 25, 1892, she was a daughter of Thad Drew and Lina Brockman . She received her education in Jackson County, KY, schools. On Dec. 24, 1909, she was married to Edward Singleton.

The Singletons moved to Hamilton 26 years ago. Mrs. Singleton was a member of the Millville United Brethren Church. A devoted mother, she enjoyed her home and family.

Mrs. Singleton leaves the widower, Edward Singleton; three sons, Phillip Singleton, Robert Singleton, both of Hamilton, and John Singleton, of Monroe; four daughters, Mrs. Frank Curran, Mrs. Ralph Moores, Mrs. M.J. Fischer, all of Hamilton, and Carol Ann Singleton; at home; a sister, Mrs. C.W. Phillips, of Livingston, KY; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Wednesday from the David Webb and Sons Funeral Home, Ross Ave. and S. D St., with the Millville United Brethren Church, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4PM Tuesday. Place of burial has not been arranged.
