Clara Louise Bell, 71, a homemaker and retired bakery clerk, died April 18, 1994, in her Colorado Springs home. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Shrine of Remembrance "American the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., with the Rev. Harold Shoemaker officiating. Cremation is planned. Mrs. Bell was born July 22, 1922, in Beallsville, Pa., to Alexander C. and Clara Belle (Rice) Mitchell. She was married Aug 1st, 1941, in Winchester, Va., to Harold B. Bell, who survives. Mrs. Bell enjoyed ceramics, crafts and sewing. She had worked as a baker clerk at King Soopers. She is survived by two sons, Harold C. Bell of Denver and Raymond C. Bell of Mesa, Ariz., three daughters, Rebecca A. Bell-Myers, Bonnie J. Willey and Penny L. Stretch, all of Colorado Springs, one sister, Sevilla "Ann" Walters of Colorado Springs; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond C. Mitchell, Carl C. Mitchell, Clark N. Mitchell and Thomas A. Mitchell. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Education and Support Center, 28258A International Circle, Colorado Springs, 80910.
