Belair, Md., August 19 -- Mrs. Priscilla Griffith, widow of John Leopold Griffith, died at her residence, in Belair, last evening, of general debility. Mrs. Griffith was born at Oakington, this county, 90 years ago next October, being the eldest child of the late John W. Stump. Sometime after the death of her husband she came to Belair to make her home at the residence of her only daughter, Mrs. Sarah Bairy, who married Col. Otho S. Lee, a well-known member of the Harford bar. Even after the death of Mrs. Lee, several years ago, Mrs. Griffith continued to remain at the old place, so well known to many Harford countians. Mrs. Griffith is survived by one daughter Mrs. Sarah Stump Murray, of Brighton, England, and two brothers Hon. Herman Stump and T.B. Coleman Stump, both of Belair. She is also survived by the following grandchildren: Mrs John Scott Parker, of East Orange, N.J.; Mrs Hannah Lee Archer, Misses Helen, Bessie and Cassandra Lee, all of Belair, and Col. John L. G. Lee, of Baltimore; Otho S. Lee, Jr., of Pittsburg, Pa., and Henry W.A. Lee of New York City.
