"RAINEY - Thomas Benajah Rainey, Sr., 59, of 4814 Kendall, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday (19 Feb 1975) in a local hospital. Born in Josserand, Texas, he had been a resident of Nueces County for the past seven years, was an Army veteran of WWII and a retired heavy equipment operator for Civil Service. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday (22 Feb 1975) in the Clifford Jackson Chapel, on Kostoryz Road, with burial to follow in Seaside Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Martha C. Rainey of Corpus Christi; a son, Thomas Rainey, Jr. and a daughter, Mrs. Maria C. Nooney, both of the Panama Canal Zone; a brother, P. J. Rainey of Wheelock, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Edna Louise Corgey of Pleasanton, Texas, and six grandchildren. Clifford Jackson Funeral Home, 4202 Kostoryz Road."
