Olympic Games Athlete, Terrorism Victim. He was the coach for the Israel Olympic Wresting Team that competed in the 1972 Summer Olympic Games in Munich, Germany. He was one of eleven Israeli athletes who were taken hostage and murdered by Palestinian terrorists from the "Black September" group. He twice attacked and fought back against his captors, and was killed in his second attempt.
