BERRINGER died on 06/02/1943 at 6:30 p.m. The obituary quoted in the materials (source unnamed) states that she was born March 27, 1959, a daughter of Peter and Annie (Ow) Kessler, died at 8:25 p.m. [6:30 p.m. on death certificate], Wednesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Berringer, in Cherry Tree, R.D. (PA). She was first married to William Stiffler [actually mar 1. William Berringer Married 2. William Stiffler], who died many years ago and second to Alexander Berringer, who is also deceased. Surviving with Mrs. Berringer, there are three other children: Mrs. Verna Mary Gibbons and Mrs. Bertha Gibbons, both of Gillespie, Illinois, and Clifford Stiffler of Vandergrift . There are eight grandchildren.
"Services have been arranged for 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Evangelical Church at Uniontown, Indiana Co. (PA). The Rev. Charles Ream will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery."
