Mrs Reita T. White Dies in Salt Lake
Reita Thurman White, 47, Salt Lake City, died Friday at 9 p.m. in a Salt Lake city hospital after a lingering illness.
Mrs White was born Jan 19, 1910 at Grover, Wyo. to Ray S. and Lucy McCombs Thurman. She graduated from the Star Valley High School and attended LDS Business College.
She married Mondell Porter White Jan 30, 1931 in the Logan LDS Temple. They lived in star Valley for some time before moving to Salt Lake City.
Mrs White was president of both ward and stake primary associations.
Survivors include her hisband, two sons Ballard attending BYU; Clayton on an LDS mission in Chile and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov 23 in the Ivins Ward in Salt Lake City, 1860 So 3rd E at 12:30. Friends may call at the home at 1858 Roberta St. in Salt Lake City.
Mr and Mrs Elden Allred attended the funeral of their sister-in-law Mrs Mondell White in Salt Lake City Saturday. They rode down and back with Mr and Mrs Bob Hastings of Afton.
