On April seventeenth of the year of the Lord eighteen hundred and eighteen between seven and eight PM, according to reliable information, the twelfth child, namely a son, the ninth of this marriage, was born to the local burgher and farmer Johann Mieth, and to his first wife Clara née Como. He was baptized the following day, and received the name Peter.

Godparent was Peter Lippert, single, and legitimate son of the local burgher and master tailor Caspar Lippert, who undersigned this record together with the child's father, and with me, the current chaplain, who performed this baptism.

Bride's date of birth: 24 January 1818

On April nineteenth of the year of the Lord eighteen hundred and forty seven, after receiving attestations by the district administration and court that no hindrances exist to this marriage in regards to civil or private law, and following three proclamations at this Parish church as required, were married in accordance to canonical law and requirements, and consecrated into marriage: the local burgher and paver Peter Mieth, single, and legitimate son of the late local burgher and farmer Johann Mieth the First, and of his late spouse Clara née Como, who is twenty nine years old, and Anna Maria Kern, single, and legitimate daughter of the local burgher and master tailor Georg Kern and of his wife Elisabeth née Danz, who is twenty nine and a quarter years old.

Witnesses were:
1. the local burgher and master tailor Peter Lippert, and 2. local burgher and master baker Jakob Sattig the Third.

who undersigned this record together with me, the pastor who performed this marriage ceremony.
