Orin D. Huffman, 70, of Portsmouth, Ohio, died at home this morning.

A native of Circleville, and a retired clerk for the city of Portsmouth, he was a member of Manly United Methodist Church and was a World War II veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Davis Huffman; a son, Gregory Huffman of Newark; a daughter, Carol Bauer of Columbus; four brothers, Milton, Reginald, and Clyde Huffman of Portsmouth, and Charles Huffman of Springfield, Ohio; two sisters, Miriam Huffman of Portsmouth, and Joyce Rickman of Sumter, SC, and five grandchildren.

Services are to be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Daehler Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Robbins officiating, and burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The family's favorite charities are the American Cancer Society and the Hospice of Scioto Valley.
