FAYETTEVILLE ? Roxie Dingus, 82, of Fayetteville, formerly of Kyle, went to be with the Lord Friday, Dec. 23, 2005 at the Sheltering Arms Assisted Living Home in Fayetteville after a long illness.

Born April 4, 1923 in Keystone, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Dodson and Patty Manns Johnson. She was a former resident of Kyle most of her life, was a homemaker, and was affiliated with the Baptist faith.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William ?Bubba? Dingus; two sons, Mack Dingus and Charles William Dingus; also two sisters, Annie Brown and Ida Manns.

She leaves to cherish her memories: One sister, Elanor Bryson of Kyle; one grandson, Charles William Gravely of Bluefield; three great grandchildren, Apolinia King of Northfork, Natiesha Gravely of Bluefield, Camille Sessor of Bluefield; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Committal services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today, Dec. 27, 2005 at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, Route 20, Bluewell with the Rev. Harold Calloway officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Friends may call at the Mausoleum Chapel 30 minutes prior to the services.
