WALTERS, Katherine – Mrs. Katherine Walters, aged 64 years, died on Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at her home a short distance south of Springdale after an illness of five or six weeks. The remains were interred in Bluff Cemetery Monday afternoon, services being conducted by Eld. Jas. Dodson. The deceased had resided at the home where she died for about thirty-five years. She leaves two sons, Tom and Will, and two daughters, Mrs. Murphy Price and Mrs. Robert Looney. There is also another son, Laborne, but he has been away from home for a number of years and it is not known whether or not he is living.[The Springdale News - Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas - November 2, 1899]
