Rev, Benjamin Pomeroy was the son of Josiah and Ruth (Thayer) Pomeroy. Eunice (Nicholson) Pomeroy was his 1st wife. She died February 8, 1877. Dr. Mary Almeda (Thurston) Garrison Pomeroy was his 2nd wife. They were married January 28, 1878. Mary died January 13, 1891. Rev. Pomeroy was a minister in the Troy Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
