Funeral services were held at 3 p. rn. Tuesday at the Market Street Church of Christ for Thomas Andrew Davenport, 80, who died at his home, Athens 8, Sunday night, Bro. Bennie Lee Fudge officiated, assisted by Bro. A. J. Rollings. Interment was made in the Athens cemetery, McConnell Service directing, and grandchildren and great grandchildren serving as pallbearers.
Surviving Mr. Davenport, a long-time member of the Church of Christ, are the widow, Mrs. Dora Davenport; three daughters, Mrs. Velma Pratt, Olney, Texas, Mrs. C. E. Hardison, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Sidney Harrison, Athens 2; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Rose, Anderson, and Mrs. Sallie McLemore, Midlothian, Ohio; and three
brothers, James and Robert Davenport, Cherokee, Ala.; and Charles Davenport, Atlanta, Ga.
