Professional Golfer. He was the winner of the 1958 United States Open. After serving in the United States Army during World War II, he began his professional career in 1946. Known as a fierce competitor on the course, Bolt would record fifteen career victories while on the PGA Tour. In addition, he was a member of two US Ryder Cup teams (1955 and 1957). He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2002.
