Rhythm and Blues Singer. He was a vocalist and founding member of the Rhythm and Blues group "The Esquires." They are best known for the hits "Get On Up" (1967) and "And Get Away" (1967). He was born in Birmingham, Alabama and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he formed the group with his siblings Alvis and Betty while in high school during 1957. They would continue to perform into the 1990s. He died from cancer.
